G2011

This year is going to be an eventful one for us, first off, we have some cons lined up across the US including: Chicago, Ohio, and San Diego.

We welcome inker Michael Brewer to the team, who will be working on our first comedy: Raptor Sniper-one shot (no pun intended!), due to premiere at SPACE Con in Columbus, OH in March.

February will bring to an end a year long project: The Triad, with #4's conclusion bringing more mystery to the Triad Universe. The story continues with "KROSS", giving readers an "earthly" account of the ongoings within the celestial realm and beyond.

Soon after RS and T4 are wrapped up, Daniel will start on the panels for Antic: The Chapters of Levith (The Siege: Book 3) which will be the first full-book of the series (24 pages).

Make sure to check to site every week or so to find information, updates, and extras including pics of work in progress and interviews with Daniel and Eric.

The next two months

First off, we at G2 would like to thank all of the fans that have been supporting us since the release of The Triad #1 in Sept. '09. We feel that the artwork, stories and exposure have come a long way, and we would not be here if it wasn't for your dedication!

Antic: The Chapters of Levith #1 now reigns as #26 out of the top 100 books at drivethrucomics.com! We are competing with major titles like Witchblade, Judge Dredd, Mouse Guard, and many more from major labels! This kind of reception only fuels the fire of creativity for us, and we are sure that our future titles will progress further than anyone's expectations!

So, here's what we have for the next two months:

Antic: The Chapters of Levith #2 will be releasing in the next two weeks. (Official release date to come) and will pick up where #1 left off with Entigus' and Bayard's conflict. #2 will also be 12 pages, but will progress to 24 for #3 and #4, and 48 pages for #5

The Triad Series will come to a close in December with the release of The Triad #4 (48 pages), which will wrap up the Triad's account of the present ongoings in the Celestial Realm. There will be a 7-8 page color preview of Eric's new title "Kross and Vengeance", which will introduce new characters, revisit characters from the Triad, and continue the story of the Celestial Realm.

Along with new titles, look for new character bios and illustrations. There will be an expansion of products in the G2 store including WEB EXCLUSIVE prints (they will be numbered, sold through the site, and will not be printed again once the stock runs out), stickers, and (hopefully) t-shirts!

G2 Comics

What's Next For G2

Fall is officially here and with the new season comes some exciting announcements from G2 Comics, the next generation of graphic storytelling! First, let's talk about Antic II! It's Demi-God vs. Demon-Spawn as heroes make ready for battle in the second installment of the Chapters of Levith. Daniel has been working on new panels and the cover art, and everything is looking great!

Once Antic II is released (October), G2 will jump right into the Triad #4, wrapping up the first of four mini-series revolving around the Third Heavenly Schism. Savior meets betrayer and bureaucracy crumbles in this final battle, told in 41 pages with a 7 page preview of the new series, Kross and Vengeance (previously REDD Kross).

Adding to the depth of our stories, G2 will be posting bi-weekly/monthly character bios. Many characters in the Triad and Antic universes have stories that we feel need to be told, but rather than make you buy 100 other titles, we're offering a peek into the lives of Angels and Demi-gods right on our website. Just click on the COMICS tab on the G2 homepage, select your favorite title, and click on CHARACTERS to find stats and backgrounds on some of your favorite G2 characters, as well as an occasional sneak peek at new characters. We will also be offering prints of some of these same characters to purchase online, so you won't have to wait for the next Convention Exclusive prints to get your favorite G2 art!

Finally, if you are looking for a more cost-efficient way of reading your favorite G2 titles, check out Drive-Thru comics, where G2 titles are currently posted as digital comics, for as low as $0.50! Project: ComicCon 2!

It's been about a week since the St. Louis Project: Comic Con and once again, we had a great time! Daniel did some amazing work on new panels for Antic II (still due to release in October!) and got some outstanding recognition from some DC artists. We also had a chance to meet Top Cow artist Kenneth Rocafort (Velocity), who took an opportunity to browse Daniel's portfolio. The show overall has been great - we sold out of Antic I, and the second printing of The Triad #3 found its way into the hands of both new and existing fans! Back to Business

It's been a few days since the Chicago Con and the G2 team is well rested and ready to get back to work. Thanks again to all of the outstanding new fans of G2 Comics. We met some great people as well, including our booth-mates Steve Harmon, creator of the "Maiden Hell" comic book and Tatiana Kalba of Scrapped Clothing. I've read Steve's comic and love the storyline. If you're a fan of The Triad, check out his work at http://www.harmoncomics.net/. Tatiana creates screen tees and handbags with a twist. My favorite is her "Bocce, motherf*cker, do-you-speak-it?" mash up of the Pulp Fiction and Star Wars genres, though "Han Shot First" is a close second. Find Tatiana's wares at http://www.etsy.com/shop/ScrappedClothing. I think it's just to be expected that if you have a name like Tatiana, you're automatically pretty cool.
We also met booth-mate Jose Rodarte, a talented superhero artist and all around nice guy. He was there for his first comic convention too, and we had tons of fun with him, snapping pictures of the costumed characters walking the con. G2 at Wizard World Chicago!!!

Hey everyone from Daniel and Eric in the Windy City where we are live in the WIZARD World Chicago Comic Con! It's been a blast so far - we've met some great new fans, and Daniel has done some great commission artwork, including two original, one-of-a-kind Triad and Antic sketches. Thanks to anyone and everyone who has come by the G2 booth to browse or buy - or just to get to know us! We've given out LOADS of G2 art-postcards and business cards, and most importantly, we've met some great people, including some very well dressed characters and some very talented artists. Some other great news - we released THE TRIAD #3 right here in Chicago on day two of the con, and it looks great! The Triad and Beyond

The art for The Triad is looking great, and will be live on Monday, the 14th in the gallery at g2comics.com. The Triad is set to release sometime in July of this year. (Release Dates will be on the site starting the 1st of July)

We are getting excited about Wizard World Chicago! We have total confidence that we will be wowing some people there with our new books. We will have a bunch of promotional material and some prints available for sale, which will also be online soon.
